Technical Instructions

Although these technical instructions were made for the ENGL393 assignment this semester, the actual problem it is meant to solve was a real issue I encountered while working on my EdTech startup. We needed to help our non-technical partners be able to import questions into the question bank database which previously required working with someone on the development team. After researching different methods of addressing this, I came up with the solution myself and communicated it with my partners.

This assignment was extremely important to me as I was able to take something I actually encountered in the real world and managed to apply what I learnt in realtime to make it better and formalize it properly. It taught me the importance of technical writing in my field especially if I work in a bigger organization where communication is even more vital. The fact that it was so important in a small team where we all knew each other further proves how invaluable learning about it in this course has been and will be in my future endeavors.
